Beginner Orchestra | Saturday, 1pm - 2.30pm
Our first ensemble for those pupils who can play 5 notes or more on their instrument. This is an opportunity to play together with many instruments from the four main families - strings, woodwind, brass and percussion. A mixture of music will be leant, and regular concert opportunities provided.
Concert Orchestra | Saturday, 9.15am – 11.45am
The intermediate orchestra for players of Grade 3 to 5+ standard (woodwind and brass players accepted up to grade 6). Players of orchestral instruments are welcome to come and learn a mixture of classical, film and popular music arrangements.
Youth Orchestra | Saturday, 9.30am - 12.30pm
Our flagship symphony orchestra for players of all orchestral instruments of Grade 6 to 8+ standard. The orchestra plays at many venues during the year, including the Royal festival Hall in London. It also tours once a year to Europe.
